Friends,
The current version of Frontiers in Membrane Protein Structural Dynamics is shaping up to be truly exciting. We have a remarkable slate of topics and very much look forward to see all of you at Argonne in about a month.
Enclosed is the program as it stands right now. This year we have two superb keynote speakers, Chris Miller (Brandeis) and Olga Boudker (Weill Cornell). The first of the two keynote sessions will be on Friday night (November 10th) and we will close the meeting with the second one, Sunday afternoon (November 12th). There will also be a rapid fire session highlighting all of the posters, so we hope you and all members of your labs will submit poster presentations as a way to foster discussions and the free exchange of ideas.
I strongly encourage you to register as soon as possible. Since Argonne is a DOE-run National facility we must go through their vetting and security checks to issue everyone an access pass. This takes time. Following submission of our registration form, attendees should also register with the Argonne National Laboratory by filling out their terms of conditions (https://apps.anl.gov/registration/visitors). More instructions will be received via email upon submission of the form
Regarding the details of accommodations and logistics, arrangements have been made for a stay at the Argonne Guest House (https://www.anlgh.org/), where we have set aside a block of rooms for the meeting. Contact them directly and refer to this meeting and the room block when making arrangements.
All for now.
Best regards,
The Organizing Committee.
