The Im group studies protein-peptide interactions within biological membranes, transmembrane-induced signaling and regulation, and ion channel activities such as ion permeation and selectivity. The group develops theoretical and computational tools for biophysics applications and is currently contributing to the development of CHARMM-GUI and the CHARMM-GUI Membrane Builder.
